How to connect ps3 eye to ps3?

Ps3 controller won't connect - tried everything?

  • I've been trying to connect my ps3 controller to the ps3 for some time. i've tried resetting it, i've tried using a different cable to connect, a different usb port. all that happens when i connect it to the ps3 is that the lights flash, so it must be able to tell that it's connected to a usb port right? is there anything else i can try? Also, it does not turn on when it's not connected to the ps3. and i've tried connecting it to a PC and it's given similar results. This is not a new Ps3, it is a fat 120GB ps3 that i've had for about a year. There have not been any issues like this in the past.

Well since you say it does not work on Pc also it is most likely your controller you may have to replace it.
