okay, PS3 is getting a price cut so now It's about 16990 INR in India (160 gig model). 19990 for 320 gig+move bundle. It would run fine on a normal TV, although you would have trouble with some games (FIFA 12, Resistance 3) because of very small size of text depending on your screen size. Get an extra controller (2990 INR) and a game. You don't need anything else. Make sure to get HDMI cables if you have an HDTV. Okay, first of all, if you're going to pirate games, DON'T, because you won't be able to access future updates and new features (PS3 in India ships with 3.50 version which is far too downgraded!). Latest is 3.72 which adds lots of features.

ps3 costs 19,000rs in India..and you can play it on normal tv! But the main thing i don't like Is the price of ps3 cd's one cost oe about 2000 to 3,500 but as you mentioned about pirated game! Then let me tell you very important thing,pirented games will lead your ps3 to ban! If! You go online or make a profile online! So be very careful from getting ur ps3 ban forever!
