Good PC or PS3 flight simulator?

  • Hey everyone What is a good flight simulator for PC or PS3 I would like a good joystick and pedals as well but I don't want to spend a fortune I would like it to be true to life so i learn a bit from it. Can anyone recommend a game joystick and pedals Much appreciated

    microsoft flight simulator has always been the best on pc . for ps3 there are very few flight games and I don't know if there are stick and pedals available for a ps3 or if the games support it . the only ps3 games I can think of in the category are tom clancy's h.a.w.x and h.a.w.x.2 and ill sturmovil birds of prey . all have demos available to download so you can try them out .

for pc i would say flight simulator x (a new game is coming out following this called flight) for ps3 i would recommend a game that is based on red bull time trials but i dont know the name.
