Why isn't my Psp reading games?

It just started shortly ago. Whenever I put in a game it just makes a humming/clicking sound and I can't go into any sub menu like theme settings or system setting etc... Things I already tried -Draining the battery and completely recharging it -Running the psp on just the charger
