How do I watch .mp4 movies on my PS3 from off my flash drive?

So I have a lot of mpeg-4 movies on a FAT formatted flash drive. When I put the flash drive in my PS3 and go to videos, it says there are no titles. What am I doing wrong?
Answer:

ps3's like everything organized in folders named MUSIC , VIDEO or PHOTO without doing that on the flash drive you have to press △ and choose display all to see any files

Try pressing triangle and choose "information" and look for it there. If a bunch of folders pop up, it should be in one of them.
