Why does my ps3 keep overheating?

• I have a July 2007 Motorstorm 80GB ps3 which i bought in January 2008. As of recently I dont have room on my desk to put my ps3 on as i'm in college and need desk space and I need a slim to fit where i want it to without problems of potential overheating It has a 500GB 5400rpm western digital with a 32 MB cache which I will just let the person keep as a lil gift this system has seen 1-9 hour play throughs but has never had problems with overheating as I have cleaned it of any dust once a year and have kept it away from pets, it has artic silver from about 6 months ago making it run cooler but i dont need b/c that much to keep it'll just come with a sixaxis or dualshock controller, no games how much can i get and anything to make it worth, i have the original packaging and games and i own a naki g-pak to carry the ps3 so i'll bundle that and the original box if they want it

  I have one of this and it is a really good console. This ps3 is already discontinued so the price really depends on who do you want to sell it to. If you want to sell it to some kind of console collector of something the prices can rage from 2000 up to 6000$ if it is in good condition but i wouldnt suggest doing this by the other hand you can easily sell this bundle in between 500 and 1300$ because of all the pluses you are willing to give so i would suggest selling it somewhere between this prices i gave you but this is only my suggestion, i dont know if you wish to get more out of it but thats up to yo I hope you sell it soon since it can be harder to sell later wish u luck on selling this.
