How to get rid of scratches on PS3 disk?

PLEASE HELP I WANNA PLAY SIMS 3 AND IT ONLY STAYS AT THE LOADING SCREEN. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ME AN ANSWE THAT WILL DAMAGE THE DISK.

If your from the UK go to any GAME shop and you can clean it there its un believable they put it in some machine and bam the scratches are gone! They charge I think its £3 but it fixes the disk. But if your from US or where ever then just go to any game shop there and ask if they clean disks
