How do you downgrade a custom firmware PSP to official firmware 1.5?

Help with PSP custom firmware?

  • Okay, I need some help with getting custom firmware on my PSP. I currently have a fat PSP model 1001, and it has the official firmware version 6.10. My battery is a model PSP-110 battery pack 3.6V 1800mAh, although if possible I would like to avoid making the pandora battery and magic memory stick at all costs. I have an orange memory stick PRO duo 256MB from SanDisk. I also have one made by Sony that has the same specifications, and another by Sony that is a memory stick duo with 32MB. If you could help me by not giving me a link, but actually telling me yourself how to do this, it would be greatly appreciated. I would like to be able to play NES/SNES games, N64 games, and PS one games. If I can get a successful tutorial from someone, which means that I don't have to use a pandora battery or magic memory stick and it actually worked and let me do what I asked, then I will give best answer. Also, just a stupid question, but I am new to the custom firmware thing, can you still play your UMD games with custom firmware? All help is greatly appreciated.

  • Answer:

You have no choice but to make a pandora battery. also, you CAN play your UMD's with custom firmware. and if you dont know anyone with a CFW PSP, You are going to need to hardmod your battery.
