How to go on Aim on PS3 Slim?

Im trying to access aim from my ps3 slim. However im not interested in downloading linux. I have already tried meebo and air-aim, as well as e-buddy, but they do not work so well. If you could please give any websites besides those that will work on my PS3, i promise to give the maximum amount of points able to be given to the best answer. Please Help!

Answer:
Just using the internet search, I was able to check my yahoo mail. Its web browser may have more than facebook, twitter, and youtube. The PS3 doesn't do a lot of web applications, or may only be able to do part of some. If your just wanting to check something on aim, try the web search. If your wanting to fully utilize some aspect on it, you may have to wait for better updates to allow it.

At this point, you'd be extremely lucky to get on AIM on the PS3. It's not meant for using regular chat programs. Sure, there may be programs or sites that may work, but there's no guarantee due to the limitations of the PS3 in that regard. So unless you want to hack / jailbreak the PS3, or if yours wasn't updated and still has the Other OS option and you can put Linux on it, you may be out of luck on this one.
