How to change the password on my ps2?

Recently i purchased a used ps2 from someone. it has a password on it and i have no idea what it is. is there ne way to clear it or change it?

Answer:
A lot of people set the pass to "0000" cause it's quickest. If that doesn't work, the master pass, if I remember right, is either "7774" or "7444". Some combo of 7's and 4's.
