Madden 12 defense help! (ps3)?

So my RA in my dorm beat me 56-54 My offense is all PASS.. but its addictive bc im really good at throwing out routes to Bryant and Austin (DAllas WR) not to mention TE Witten who CATCHES EVERYTHING!! but my defense sucks!!!! i am horrible at stopping the run and pass!!! im 2-0 playing online but it was a shootout to the finish 38-36 56- 50... I NEED GOOD PLAYBOOKs that will stop the run and a playbook that stops the pass? i rarely blitz should i start sending the LBs?
