Ps3 freezing problem.?

when ever i play call of duty modern warfare 2 my ps3 keeps freezing right when its about to join a game, and i have been getting a black screen for like 20 second most of the time before it loads some pages. please give me a detailed decription of what you think is wrong and how to fix it. thank you

clean the disk??????????? may have some scratches on it.
