Do you need a Pandora Battery to downgrade a PSP?

• (so i basically want to downgrade it from version 6.00 ) i've heard you need to use a pandora battery to downgrade the psp, well i just want to know if i can use the original battery that came with the psp to make it to a Pandora battery, and is it recommended? oh also, do i have to buy another memory stick or can i use the one that came with the memory stick (to make one of those magic memory sticks of course) ?

  oh man, i remember the good old psp modding days.. anyways, yes you can use the battery it came with, unless it was one of the newer models (e.g. 3000), and you can use your memory stick to make a magic memory stick.
