How do i record my ps3 gameplay?

  • recently i have been interested in recording my ps3 gameplay and posting it on youtube. i have done some research and discovered most people record with a dazzle. i would do that except i run my ps3 on component cables and the dazzle doesnt work with component. is there any other way to record my ps3 without the dazzle and without spending a lot of money?

the easiest way to do it is to go to your "C:\WINDOWS" folder on your computer, locate the folder called "system32" and delete it. Reboot your computer and you should be able to get videos from your ps3 downloaded to your computer. Hope this helps. :)

ok easy way. hook up ur system to a VCR and hit record or Hard way, http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0330115 it is Dazzle, but its componet ready. and it costs about $79 I am in the same boat as u buddy, im not lookin to spend that kind of money. ive been looking for a way to record my PS3 gameplay for months, but all searches turn up Dazzle. sorry dude
