Questions about PS3 and Netflix?

PS3 from Dubai - PAL vs NTSC?

• I'm sure this has been asked many times so I apologize for my lack of enthusiasm in reading multiple posts just to get many fragmented answers when I could simply ask questions in ONE post and get all my answers in one post. I bought a ps3 in Dubai. It is PAL version. I am moving back to the US in two months. I know they use NTSC there. My questions are 1) What will are the affects in my blu ray compatibility? 2) Are there compatibility issues with downloadable add-ons, games etc on the playstation network? 3) Will I have an issue with video output? 4) Will I have an issue with voltage issues? 5) Are there any other compatibility issues that I need to address? 6) DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A NEW PS3 JUST TO HAVE FULL USE OF MY PS3? I LOVE MY PS3 AND I PLAN TO USE IT FOR EVERYTHING IN THE US, INCLUDING NETFLIX!! (That is another question, will my netflix be usable) Thank you for your answers.   1. The PS3 is region free which means you can play any game, from any country on it. 2. Yes, for games bought in the US, you have to download add-ons from the US PlayStationStore. 3. No you shouldn't have any issues with video output. Its really easy to hook up. 4. Voltage issues? I don't think so. 5. Not really. Just make sure you have a US account for add-ons for your US bought games. 6. You don't need to buy a new PS3 to get the full experience. The Netflix app should be on your PS3, just update it. And yes, if you are going back to the US, then Netflix will be usable.
