Is there any other devices to use as a controller for the ps3(mouse,xbox controller,etc)?

i want to do split-screen for something but i don't want to buy another controller.i know you can use the xbox controller with the adapter but i don't want to go and buy something i'm only going to use for one day and yes i have both xbox and ps3.

No, only official PS3 licences (or "compatible with") controllers will work. No Xbox or gaming pads. (except the racing wheel for GT5)
