What is the biggest problem with xbox360?

What would be better, fix a xbox360 with a disk read problem or buy a Slim?

  • Okay so I have been playing a while for the last couple of days, I play Halo Reach and Fallout New Vegas, here is what it does ... sometimes, and it has been doing it a lot today ... it will either start up and go right in to the game and play it for maybe 20 - 30 minuets sometimes an hour, then it will make a humming sound like its trying to read it, this is where the screen is loading, or like Halo reach where you choose a game type and it loads, but on my screen there are no pictures for the game types and when I select a game type it starts to load that game type then it will say that it couldn't load the game type, on fallout new vegas it has the loading screen while going from one area to the other, and it will just keep loading, or freeze eventually. What else happens is that I turn it on, and it will say there there is no disk in there, either that or it will say please insert a dvd or xbox 360 compatible game, sometimes when it says no disk I will either open and close the tray and it will try to read the disk and it wont read it, or turn it off then back on and it says that there is no disk in there, when there is. Someone help me decide what to do, I have no warranty, the system is almost 2 years old, they got a rid of the 3 year warranty for rings of death i don't think this would count anyways ... should I try and fix the problem or should I trade it in and buy a slim.

U can get it. 250gb xbox 360 is beest gaming consoles. Xbox 360 S Pros - Nearly silent when compared with the original 360. - Smaller with a slimmer look. - Built in wireless N and its fast. - Integrated optical audio. - 5 usb ports. - Internal, but easily accessible 250gb HDD on the bottom of the console. - Uses half the power of the original. - Works with most of the old accessories, including the transfer cable. Xbox 360 S cons - The IR receiver is located lower on the console and appears to have a narrower field. So depending on setup using a remote maybe a headache. - Only comes with standard def av cables. - Does not use the old memory cards or hard drives. - Touch sensitive buttons that when touch emit a soft tone. - Kinect ready socket in the back.

Trade it in and buy a slim. The disk reading problem itself can cost you about $100 if you tried sending it in. I would recommend you just trade it in and get a slim. If you know what you're doing though you can just replace your disk drive yourself for about $50.

Get a PS3 The XBOX Slim has RDOD Red Dot Of Death

get a PS3. if it will break once, it will surely break again.. luckily for PS3 users they will never have that prblom.
