What is the best Sony 1080p T.V?

How do I enable 1080p display setting in 3D for PS3 games using a SONY HX800 3D TV?

• I just purchased Crysis 2 for PS3 which has 3D support and does 1080p video. But when I enable 3D from the game menu it only displays at 720p in 3D. Went into the PS3 XMB menu and did a custom display to un-select 720p to force upscale at 1080p but this doesn't work. Instead I get this display warning "A TV that supports HDMI 1.4 3D output is required in order to play the game in stereo 3D". My television has been able to play Blu-ray movies in 3D 1080p, so I'm not sure why the game can't do the same. The back of the game box says 1080p & 3D capable. I simply want to get the maximum experience from this game since it claims to do both. So far just 720p 3D is the only working signal. Any advice on this configuration would really be of great help!

  games must either be displayed in lower resolution or at a lower framerate in 3-D you are having to create twice as many pixels with a 3-D image , one set for each eye . to do so they either go from 60 frames per second and appear laggy or go from 1080p to 720p . that's how it's supposed to be . you either get 1080p in 2-D or get 3-D and 720p there are very few games you'll ever see doing 3-D and 1080p simultaneously , and they would require either a lower framerate or the programmers would have to completely max out the ps3 . movies are different , they aren't changing graphics on screen or anything , they're static images . it's much easier to view static images in 1080p 3-D than create changing graphics and run everything smoothly .
