Streaming movies to ps3 from pc and download monitor?

• HELP! Streaming Media to a PS3 + download Monitor? Ok im using windows media player 12 to stream movies and programs from my pc to my ps3, for some reason just by streaming them to my ps3 my download monitor seems to be getting eaten up for example after just 1 hour it used 6gb download allowance. Whats going on? why is it using my download allowance up when i have already downloaded the films months ago? Is it an error with the download monitor itself or am i doing something wrong ? I only have a 40gb download allowance and it wont last a week like this. I tried Tversity but this did the same and also tversity downloads rss feeds without telling you so i dont use that, Wmp works great apart from eating my download allowance i was told that it isnt by a friend because i already download the movies all im doing is streaming them Any help would be much apreciated

  I have no idea why it would do that , I have unlimited internet and don't worry about bandwidth limits . why don't you just copy the movies to a usb stick instead and then watch on the ps3 by plugging into a usb port ? since you're using wmp they must be ps3 compatible videos .
