Playstation 3 PSN Account Help!!?

  • I was on the internet web browser for the ps3 & as soon as I got off the web browser my screen just turned blue with a large amount of words (I believe it had something to do with me recharging my controller) Anyways I panicked & turned off the console. Then when I turned it back on, I had to restore all of my original settings (Like time,date,region,language) but after I completed those settings it recognized my username account and I logged on to it but I realized that everything was the same except that all my friends are gone and under the playstation network menu instead of it having me sign it, it says "sign up for playstation network". I currently can't log onto the internet for my playstation because of the wireless internet security password. I would like to know if all of my friends have been deleted from my account since when I go to the friends menu there is nothing at all. Please help! Any would be greatly appreciated!!

    go to a pc and try to log on to the playstation site. if it accepts your username and password then you are ok. if your account isn't deleted from the sony servers, then your friends are ok. you don't mention whats wrong about the wireless internet security password. as soon your screen turned blue with many words i suggest to take the console to a sony repair center for them to check it.

As long as you know your password for the playstation network,when you sign in i would think your stuff will be ok.However,i sold my first playstation and deleted the info from it before sale.When i bought another one i had to start over from the beginning.My stuff like friends were gone.Not sure why though
