Why wont my Bluetooth work on my PS3?

My bluetooth headset for my ps3 wont work.?

i hold the power button for more then 8 seconds, and it wont go to " flashing from green to red" maybe its not charging? i have no clue. if someone could help me that would be great.

Make sure it's not auto conecting to like a phone or something. Also I had trouble with mine till I charged it all the way. But be careful not to over charge. And yes you can weaken a battery by over charging it. Also if it is a PS brand headset, watch were your pushing it. I feel like if I push it more by the top as oppossed to by the light, I feel I got better results. But that might be me just being wierd. Also if it asks for a code for the headset its 0000

I would try charging iy for a while then trying it. It may be that it is not fully charged.
