Can you playback videos on a flip hd?

I bought an HD PVR gaming edition and it came with a software called arcsoft showbiz version 3.5?

• I'm having some trouble trying to edit my videos after when i'm done recording it with HD PVR. When i hit capture and then hit stop the video is captured and the quality and everything is fine, but when i try to edit the program so that i can add my commentary mp3 file to it (i use audacity) the video loses quality as soon as i drag it and drop it down into the storyboard/timeline thing (this is where i can then add the mp3 commentary file). Not only does it seem to lose quality (in the playback screen it's kind of blurry) but it also has a choppy playback. Even worse is when i add the mp3 file, then the playback becomes really choppy. I tried to ignore this choppiness because i figured that it doesn't matter since the video itself is functional and in HD. But when i produce the video, the final file that i get from editing the video with the commentary together is choppy and not 720p HD as it once was. Does anyone know how to fix this? I ran this on THREE different computers and none of them worked well. I ran it on toshiba (has 4 gb ram, 250 gb hard drive, intel core 2-duo processor, runs on windows 7 and it's 32-bit). I also ran it on Gateway computer (has 1gb ram, 120 hard drive, and intel premium dual CPU T2310, runs on windows vista and it's 32-bit). And then i ran it on e-machine (4.00 gb memory/ram, 350gb hard drive, AMD TF-20 processor, has windows 7 ultimate and is 64-bit). It seems that the problem is with the software itself that came with HD PVR ( i am talking about arcsoft showbiz). So, my question is why can't i edit the videos without having choppy playback when the video itself is fine (i've actually tested this by uploading the file straight to youtube without editing it, and the video played in 720p HD just fine and the quality and sound were perfectly synced and well, and i also played it in windows media player without uploading it just to see if it worked fine and it did). One last note, the e-machine and toshiba computers had choppy playback even when i did not drag the video file down to edit it in the timeline thing. It plays the file just fine on the edit screen but then it stops (chops up) then it plays again and stops and repeats that. The file is recorded .TS

  my advice , buy a better editing program , i had an acrsoft editing program too and they are terrible they are free for a reason I think , it\s probably not the computer , it's that crappy software I tried the arcSoft program for a few weeks but had the same issues , so bought roxio and then sony vegas I like programs such as Sony vegas studio or adobe creative suite but thay are a bit more complex to use , although the quality and options are awesome , but for a cheaper software that is pretty good you can also get nero or roxio editing software ( or even just use windows movie maker since it's free and can do hd videos pretty well for free software ) with the one version of vegas suite you can even do 3D , add multi screen effects similar to the tv show 24 , combine effects , add music and voice overs on 24 tracks and more
