How to set up a wireless wireless internet connection?

How do you set up a wireless internet connection on a PS3?

• connecting an ethernet cable is not really an option for me in my home because it would need to be like 120 ft and go all the way downstairs because for some reason all of my outlets upstairs are broken? idk it's weird. anyways... i went to network settings then internet connection settings. from there i clicked easy setup or something and then it took me to a screen that said connect an ethernet cable. i looked up youtube videos and all of them have a screen that lets you select wireless. for some reason I DON'T HAVE THAT SCREEN fml. i took it to best buy and the guy couldn't figure out how to do it either. he also said that all PS3's should come with wireless capabilities. is it possible that mine didn't? more importantly, if it did, how do i connect it to the internet wirelessly without buying anything including one of those usb ports wirelss internet things

  Actually, the original 20GB PS3s did not have wireless capabilities. Is your PS3 an old fat 20GB one? if that's the case, then you're out of luck. If your PS3's model is CECHBxx then it's an old 20GB and doesn't have wireless.
