How do I delete users from my PS3?

If I delete all the PS3 Users will game data be safe?

• So I recently bought a ps3 from a pawnshop and it has a whole ton of users on it but it also has FFVII on it. FFVII shows up under games so if i delete the users and make a new user will it delete the FFVII game or will it be safe? I'm assuming the game is downloaded to the PS3 itself but. . .

  If the game is installed on the PS3 then yes, the game will be available to any and all users new or old. So in the "Game" (the controller icon) section on the XMB, if you scroll down the game is there yes? It's a rectangle? Then yes, its installed on the PS3 and you can use it. But I think there's a catch. The account it originated from needs to be activated in order for you to play it I think? If you can, go on each of the users accounts and go to the PS Store on them and view downloads. Leave the account that originally purchased FFVII activated. So don't delete that account. ...But considering you supposedly have a few accounts, it wouldn't hurt to see what else the other accounts have on them and download them too right? Free stuff. It isn't gamesharing, so it doesn't go against the Terms of Service and its on the same PS3 so it doesn't count as gamesharing in the first place. You can re-download things that were purchased up to 5 times I believe. So its definitly worth checking out what's on each account before deleting them to see if there's anything else that's good. But you might need to keep those accounts activated to use what is downloaded. Hope that helps.
