How to transfer files to new user on same PS3?

  • I had to make a new user on my PS3 but I can't figure out how to transfer all the trophies/saves/etc to the new user.. Can someone explain it in simple terms instead of all this technological stuff. Also, is it possible to do it without a USB?

    I haven't been able to do this at all, and I've tried. I wanted to make an account for my little brother, but none of the files are available for him. And, if you copy the files onto a memory card, create the new account, then put the files back in, you will get a message saying something about data from another user, makes trophies unavailable. You can play the files, but that's all you can do with them. All trophies will be locked and I think it also makes online play unavailable (not 100% sure on that one).
