Would this Orange Coaxial cable work with my PS3?

Why doesn't my AV cable work for my ps3?

  • I have a ps3 and i play it on a hd tv. I once used an hdmi cable to play it but the cable messed up and i treid to use the original cable, the AV cable, the one with the yello red and white outlets to play it but it will not work. Please help!

    Plug your cables up and make sure you have it on the correct channel then power up the playstation but hold the power button til it goes through a series of beeps if done correctly it should recognize the change of output

Don't go back to AV. The quality is terrible. I suggest you just go out to buy a new HDMI cable. They only cost around $10, and it's definitely worth it.

Some hd tvs dont even have av outputs anymore if thats the case with yours you can buy a converter.
