How can I connect my ps3 to my imac?

Why can't my ps3 connect to the playstation network?

  • Ok, so ever since we got crappyass telus, my internet has been exremely slow. So i wanted to play ps3. I had to do a new connection settings since i had a different internet. So i configured all the settings on my PS3 and i pressed test connection. It could connect to internet and it could obtain my IP address but it couldn't connect to play station network. Ive tried numerous times but nothing. My 360 works fine with my new internet, but not ps3. How do i configure my router so my ps3 can connect to my telus internet. PS: My telus internet is very slow. It takes about 9 minutes to load a 3 minute video on my ipod touch. My ps3 can't connect to my router, but my xbox can.

    fixed. mine was the exact same today! go to http://192.168.1.254/ your modem settings and restart the modem and wait a bit then try connecting, when it worked there was a new user agreement may of been problem hope this helps :)

Try to see the connection type of your router. The type of connection may not be compatible with PS3.

i had this problem with my ps3 wen i first got it. ths is how i fixed it 1. go to settings go to intenet connection settings go on wire/less (woteva u got) and custom setup dont change any settings or press the x button until you come to the upnp settings disable upnp. press x and try agen it worked for me, i really hope it works for you :)
