Can you use an Xbox controller on a 360?

Can anyone tell me where to find drivers to use my XBOX 360 wired (or wireless) controller on my PS3?

• I recently got Modern Warfare 2 for the PS3, and I'd played it before on XBOX. I was quite disappointed with the way the Sixaxis (PS3) controller played on the game compared to the 360 controller, and I really don't want to have to pay for an expensive 3rd-party controller, but I can't seem to find any drivers that I could install on the PS3 to allow me to use my 360 controller. Help me out, please?

  It's not possible. The PS3 controller has proprietary software to link controllers. This is why you can experience some lag with 3rd party Sixaxis controllers; they have their own internal hardware that has to convert their code into what the PS3 requires. It can only be a millisecond lag but it's there. What your asking is like asking how to get Drivers to use an IPod with Zune software.
