Whats going on with my ps3?

My ps3 has froze up on me twice today playing skyrim, whats going on?

  Relax, it's nothing. ALL PS3's freeze regardless of model and there's nothing you can do to stop to prevent it from happening. A lot of people don't realize that freezing is COMPLETELY NORMAL.The PS3 is an electronic, all electronics get buggy/glitchy or freeze from time to time. The PS3 is no exception. It isn't perfect. It's nothing to be worried about. Just make sure you turn the system off properly or you can really screw up your system (as in flat out kill it, making it nothing more than a giant paperweight.) NEVER EVER unplug it while its on or when it freezes. EVER! That can and will kill your system. ALWAYS turn it off from the power button (when it freezes, otherwise with the controller *note you won't be able to use the controller at all when the system freezes so you have to use the power button.*) Just click the power button once. It will delay for about 10-15 seconds, beep at you and turn off. IF the clicking happens to not work, then HOLD the power button down until it does. Holding it will force shut down. This can take longer sometimes depending on different reasons. It can take anywhere from 10 seconds to 5 minutes to force shut down sometimes, but it WILL shut down and it will shut down properly, which means no damage to your PS3. Hope that helps.
