What is a good external capture card compatible with a mac and ps3?

  • Hi i want to start to do game commentaries for ps3 and put them on youtube.. i heard i would need a capture card and i was wondering if anybody knew and good capture cards? I dont have a HD tv at the moment so here i come to my second question... Am i able to buy a HD capture card if i dont have a HD tv? Would that just mean it will record it in whatever quality it is and only record in hd if you have it or what? Third i heard i would need a sound card or something...Is that needed on your PC? Because i would be hooking it up to my laptop.. Please reply ASAP! Thanks Chris

    If you don't have a HDTV then try using a 'Dazzle' to capture your footage. Yes you'll need a sound-card in laptop to record the sound.
