How do I install games on my xbox360?

Why does the PS3 take so long to install games & demo's?

• First Off, I am not a fanboy of either system..... I consider myself very un bias, Although I have always preferred my Xbox 360 over my Ps3 because I like the Menu's, Online gaming, and controller better, I do also enjoy my Ps3's Blueray playing capability, CPU, Lack of RROD errors, and PS3 only Games. I love both systems.... However, I have noticed nearly any good ps3 game disc I buy, or any Ps3 Demo's I download, Takes literally between 30-60min to "INSTALL". I thought installing was for PC users, not console users.....Why is it the Xbox360 can download the same exact file size of a game demo and not have to install it where as the ps3 does.(I am downloading in background BTW) Is the BR disk drive apparently so slow at reading data that even when I buy a disk I have to install half the game to my HDD? It makes no sense why Sony has done this. Even the piece of trash Wii doesn't have this problem. Hell, Not even my PSP. I thought it was awesome how Sony put a HDD in ALL their systems, but now I see why......its friggin REQUIRED..... If MS doesn't fix its poor manufacturing process (That caused the RROD ISSUE), and SONY fix its loading times....Im very afraid of the NEXT GEN systems that will be coming out soon...

  it does it so the playstation doesnt need to constantly use the disc to play the game. the only reason you still need the disc to play is so that you have a tiny bit of info so that only the person with the disc can use it so the game cant be shared with multiple people at one time.
