Xbox360 av hd component cable question?

First of all u dont have to connect all six cables, if u want to watch component cable results u must insert the red,blue and green(which are joined together) for video and from the other 3 insert white and red these are for audio now u will have component cable results,, and if u want to see avi results insert yellow for video and white and red for audio to see avi results(non hd) in avi slots( in your hd tv)... then if have a hd tv then u must have hdmi port in it so why the hell u r not using a hdmi cable(hdmi to hdmi)ponent it displays full hd with audio also and its better than component With component cables, which are analog, you are downconverting the signal to analog, sending it over analog cables. You WILL lose a little bit of quality in this process. The HDMI cable however is a digital cable. Additionally it is a single cable. (If you have a surround sound system, you need to be using it. The 360 should have an optical out for surround, so use that.) Either way you look at it, you should use the HDMI cable

Yellow is usually used for video.

Pretty sure there's 2 different sets, if not, the green and blue must take place of the yellow. The green blue and red are for the HD(If I'm correct), and the red white and yellow are for the basic.
