How can you connect headphones DIRECTLY to the ps3?

I'm not using my TV, im using my monitor. These are my current headphones Creative Soundblaster Tactic3d Alpha http://www.creative.com/soundblaster/tactic3d/alpha/ What parts do i need to connect directly to the PS3? I have a usb adapter that came with the set, but that doesnt work on the ps3. It works on my pc though. HALP
