Can i play my ps2 games on the ps3 and can the ps2 online games go online on the ps3?

The only PS3 models that were Backward Compatible were the November 2006 launch models namely the 20GB and 60Gb then there were two 80GB bundled models RELEASED IN 2007 which came with "Motorstorm" and "Metal Gear Solid 4" as pack-in games THAT PLAYED SOME PS2 GAMES BUT NOT ALL. No other PS3 models will play PS3 games and there isn't an update that allows PS2 games to be played on PS3 models ! The current PS3 models namely the 80GB and 160Gb WILL NOT PLAY PS2 GAMES ! Click the link below for compatible PS2 games ! If you don't have one the BC PS3 models then the search won't help you any !
