Why does the PS3 lag so much?

Why can't they make computers like ps3 no lag?

  • I know the ps3 has internet lag ' if host is bad ' or etc..... but it doesnt lag in FPS like foreal my ps3 is from 2008 Gets over 50FPS on mw3? And my computer is from 2011 and gets 100Fps but then when i hit Fraps on boom drops to 25FPS... -_-

    Uh.. With the right card, you can have as many frames as you want. If you don't want fraps to lower it, record to a different hard drive Do you what your playstation is? It's a mini PC. Your PC just blows. 100fps on call of duty? My computer does that with a stock intel card I'd just love to see your computer specs..

Fraps takes a lot of resources when recording, so you can't get a good FPS count. If you want to get a higher FPS, try Bandicam. Bandicam compresses the recording video when recording, and uses much lower CPU/GPU/RAM usage than Fraps. As a result, you may get better frame rates. See http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=bandicam
