Magic Memory Stick Problem?

OK so I have a PSP 2000 that already has custom firmware 5.0m33-6. I've been playing games from my memory stick before it broke, so what I need to know is to make a maigc memory stick but already with custom firmware. So I'm going to need to buy a new memory stick and turn it into magic. Also my psp-2000s from japan so not so sure if i can use a us memory stick. Please help or at lease post some links

it should work its the same device. i ordered the gps for psp from japan and it worked on my us psp
