Why won't my PSP 3000 Series turn on?

  • Hell, I am having a problem with a PSP 3000 Series. The unit just wont turn on. If I put battery in the unit, it wont turn on, if I take out the battery and just use the charger, it wont turn on. And if I use both at the same time, the battery wont chage and the unit still wont turn on. Now also have a PSP 1000 Series that I use regularly. When I put the 1000 Series battery in ( the battery being charged on the PSP 1000) the psp turns on fine and is able to run games with no problem. If I put the PSP 3000 Series Battery into the PSP 1000 to try to charge it, the orange charge light just blinks off and on, whci I have read means that the battery is defective and upon further inspection the PSP 3000 battery is bloated which is a very bad sign and we have moved the battery to a safe location incase it blows. So what could the problem be? The PSP 3000 is not hacked and is running on OFW 6.30. Thanks and If you need more info please ask.

    I think your psp's battery and charging area is defective.Do not use psp without batery for long time.Go from sony service centre or ask playstation workeer about it at http://us.playstation.com/support/ask/

your battery is dead, or you turn it off while something was charging or loading these things destroy the flash!! sometimes you can fix it by hiting the psp :D
