How to connect ps3 to hd tv?

How to connect my PS3 with HD Ready TV but there is no DVI/HDMI Ports??

  • I just bought a PS3 and i wanted to connect it to my Rear Projector TV nut there is no HDMI or DVI ports on that TV.. What i saw just Component Cable and there is D Component which i don't understand what is that for...I can buy a HDMI converter to Video Component but i went through a lot of threat and it says that i won't get the same graphic if i use Video Component Cable...I really want to get the best graphic...is there anybody know what is ''D Component'' Port means? The port just only a small, smaller than HDMI port... Any suggestion would be really appreciated. cheers

  • Answer:

Sounds like you need to get a new TV with HDMI inputs, if you want the 1920x1080 resolution output, as HDMI is the answer to copyright protection for HD material. Maybe you are limited to 720 output over RGB component cables, so you might have to live with that. There really isn't that much visual gain between 720 & 1080 on certain smaller HDTV, but once you get to 50+ inches, it might be noticeable. I can't help you, sorry...
