What is the problem with my PSP?

Portable Sony Play Station PSP Problem?

  • Hi there I'm starting to have some problems with my PSP. I have some music Video files on my psp and I have noticed that the sound/audio on the psp plays at the wrong speed and slower then it should be. For example if I were to have a music file or video file the audio would be slow, however if I were to plug my psp into my computer and play the same files from my psp they would play fine. I have also noticed that when I upload files on to my psp like for example (MP4 Video clips) a lot of the files are corrupt or they will say unsupported data and some of them don't even show on the psp I have plugged the psp into my computer again to check the MP4 files and according to my computer there is nothing wrong with the MP4 files and play fine on my computer from my psp. If I were to download 50 MP4 video files for example only 20 of them would play on the psp. Can anyone help? Cheers

  • Answer:

where did you buy your memory stick from because from what you said it sounds like you bought a fake memory stick although it works it is bound to fail anytime I have experienced this when I bought a fame memory stick a lot of my files were corrupted yet they played fine in a real memory stick I have so the problem is not your PSP it is your memory stick also to make sure it is real in the XMB highlight either photo, music, video, or game and highlight the memory stick icon press triangle and if it says magigate supported it is real if it says unknown it is likely fake
