Oldest game console you own?

Can suiciding rapidly on a game, mess up disc or ps3 console?

• I was playing MGS4...when i was online, I was in a training room, all by my self..i kept gettin a rpg and gernades..and blew my self up like 80 times....then I remebered my ps2 biking game "Dave Marin something..."...i always loved to fall of bike on purposed..but after i did alot.. the game would just freeze and ill have to restart console...idk if the ps3 will freeze like the ps2 in that kind of way...but did me killing myself rapidly 80 times..mess up my PS3 console or game?

  Killing yourself multiple times inside a video game has no effect on your PlayStation 3 as it is simply running the game, whether your killing yourself or actually playing the game makes no difference, to the PlayStation 3 is just processing tasks. What happenend on your PlayStation 2 probably wasn't caused by the specific thing you were doing but more likely by either a failing part inside the PlayStation 2 or a scratch on the disc that was causing errors.
