Whats wrong with my ps3?! best answer 10pts?

  • It freezes somtimes or gets sticky during games glitching on parts and locking up sometimes during loading doesn't fully load eg in grand IV the roads might disappear and there's nothing but the car and freezing in the PS menu I have a USB fan so I don't think its a cooling issue is it the hard drive or blue ray drive? Or the gpu or CPU? :s btw I've changed the heat paste a month ago. Thanks

    Your PS3 is fine. ALL PS3's freeze regardless of model.A lot of people don't realize it's the system itself and there's nothing you can do to prevent it. Don't worry, its actually a very normal thing for it to do. No need at all to send it in. Sometimes it can freeze 5 times in 1 hour other times it won't freeze for days or weeks. It just depends. You also have to realize that its not perfect. There's no such thing. All electronics will freeze from time to time. It's a normal thing that occurs for them. The PS3 is no different. Vacuum it out once in a while just to get the dust out from inside the system. It won't help with the freezing problem but it will help the system last longer in general. Games that are buggy/glitchy in the first place were formatted that way because the creators simply didn't fix the issues it had right away. That's what game updates and patches are for usually. But relax. All is good, your system is absolutely fine. Hope that helps.

Just a game glitch. Don't fault your PS3.

Send it to Sony there's at set amount to fix if they can't fix it they'll send u a refurbished one, call them up.

not heat at all, most likely a connection problem with the disc reader to the mobo, or an optical lens in the disc reader is malfunctioning
