How do I fix the Yellow light of death for my ps3?

    People say xbox gets red ring of death but the ps3 gets a yellow. Ps3 ain't that great to me anymore.

You can't and Sony don't have any warranty system unlike Microsoft replacing every console free of charge with free shipping. Sony fanboys complain of the Xbox failure rate being so high when the PS3's is only 6% lower...?

You open the PS3 and take out the hard drive. You then sprinkle pixie dust on the hard drive after bathing it in vinegar. You then replace the circuits with cookies and milk. After all that reassemble the PS3 and then your PS3 shouldn't have the YLOD.

There is no way to fix it for free, there are other ways to fix it but the fix will only last a few months maybe three tops. So the best bet is to buy a new one cause they don't have that problem.

You have two choices.. Either call Sony an then return your unit so Sony can replace the hard drive, or you can buy a replacement drive for cheap an do it yourself
