What Game is Better for PS3? Guitar Hero World Tour or Rock Band?

Rock Band is a way better game. And you should never consider buying guitar hero anyway since its a series that has been milked beyond belief. In the past year ELEVEN different versions of guitar hero have come out.

Rock Band is definitely a better family oriented game with more song choice. Guitar Hero games are great but if you are looking for more gameplay I would have to suggest Rock Band.

i own an xbox 360 so i don't know the difference between the games (there isn't one) but i really like rock band because of the better songs and its doesn't have one made every 2 months like guitar hero, (guitar hero games look like they were made in a hurry/rush, not very good quality) so again go with rockband also if someone gives me a thumbs down for saying i own a 360...that makes you a douche

Very easy. Rock Band 2. Rock Band 2 has generally more favorable reviews. It was made by Harmonix, the people who created Guitar Hero 1 and 2. Pretty much everybody who played back then has moved on to Rock Band. Most people here will answer Guitar Hero due to brand name recognition. Rock Band is better for the people who played the original Guitar Heroes who know about the change in developer, along with new players. Pretty much the only people left playing Guitar Hero are the people who played from the beginning and aren't aware of the change of developer. Rock Band also has a music store, where you can get over 600 songs. It doesn't get much better than that! There's also a thing called the Rock Band Network coming out soon, adding even more songs to the game. And, you can rent the original Rock Band, and for a small charge, export those songs into Rock Band 2! The gaming experts also agree that Rock Band 2 is best. Guitar Hero isn't bad, it just has many flaws. By the way, Rock Band 2 will last you over a year as Rock Band 3 has not yet been announced, while Guitar Hero 5 comes out in September. I would buy Rock Band 2, along with GH2, the best in the GH series, because it was made by the people who made Rock Band.

I have Rock Band for PS3 and its much muche better than guitar hero 4. the songs are better. Buy the Rock Band Set for like 150 dollars, u get the game, drums, guitar, and a mic. Its worth it.
