My PS3 is not working.

Ps3 games not working?

• i recently purchased a used ps3. i had a ps3 b4 and placed all my saved game files on a usb drive. when i got my "new" ps3 i loaded all my files on it and when i tried to load those files with my game it would not work. i got a text box saying it could not load because the file had been "created on a different network or playstation 3" how can i get my files to work on this ps3? i need this urgently because i was thinking on gifting this ps3 soon.

  are you using the same psn account ( online ) and user name ? to enable use of your saves there has to be a link showing they are yours and not another persons . you have to have the following - a playstation network account signed in as your existing psnID name used on the other ps3 user name must be the same - if it was just user 1 before it has to be still you can't use saves from a backup made on another ps3 with backup utility - only those copied individually to a usb stick some saves are locked to the system and can't be copied .
