Why my PSP START button won't work?

How would the ps1 games' controls work on the psp?

  • im planning on buying a ps1 game(metal gear solid) for my psp through PlayStation network . but then i start wondering on how that would work.i mean, what is going to happen to the R1,R2,L1,L2,and the two anologe buttons (R3,L3) when there is only one anologe button and there is only a "R" and a "L" button. how would that work. P.S. i know that i can play it on my ps3, but what about the psp
