How do I upload custom music into nhl 12 on ps3?

just got a ps3 and NHL 12 and found out i can upload custom music. Do i need to put them on a USB or a CD?

that will work, you just transfer the data to your ps3 HD. What I do is add the music to a shared file on the network so I don't have to burn cd's, I can play any song on my computer instantly without waiting.
