Why won't Xbox read brand new game?

Xbox 360 wont read disks?

so my xbox 360 keeps saying disk is unreadable but it has read it before the disk is brand new its a game called skyrim so its not the disk it has to be the dvd drive right? i took it apart earlier this morning to clean the laser part of the dvd drive that reads to disks but it is still doing it...do i need a new dvd drive or what...if i can fix this without buying new parts i would like that 100% more since i am broke and cannot afford a new ...anything

You may need a new dvd drive, mine did it ages ago i just disconected it from the console and put it back in the it worjed
