Whats the easiest way to connect to xbox live?

My second xbox 360 controller won't connect to xbox live?

  • 2 days ago I got xbox live set up and working and it was so fun. So I went to get my dad to play halo reach and the second controller wont connect to xbox live no matter how hard I try. If there's a way to get them to connect to xbox please let me know and thanks.

    The controller is fine it's just when you use a second controller you need another profile for that controller and if the profile doesn't have xbox live gold status it won't be able to play online.

Edit: Oops! I didn't read your question well enough. I thought you were having syncing issues. Easy fix buddy. With your console off, unplug the power plug from the back of the console (not the wall) and wait about 20 seconds. Plug it back in and try to sync your controller. It'll work then. Pwn Dad on Halo! :D

push the button on the top of controller its small and on the left than it should have flashing green lights then push the button on the xbox it looks the same and is next to left of the ring on the xbox the flashing should look the same on the controller than it is connected
