When you buy an x box 360?

If I gave my broken X-box 360 to Gamestop, would they buy it from me or would they fix it?

• I have an older X-box 360 that i bough about 2 months after they first came out. It broke down with an overheat error and my friend tried to fix it but said that some chips had been fried by the overheat and he wouldn't be able to fix it. Microsoft also told me that I couldn't send it back to them because my friend had already opened it. A few people told me to give it to Gamestop and if I do, would they only buy it so they can scrap it for parts, or will they actually fix it? My X-box broke 2 and a half years ago and i decided to just sell all my X-box games to gamestop and they said they could fix it for 60 bucks but i didn't have the money at the time so i said no, and now that i tried to have it fixed by a friend, will they not fix it either just like microsoft?

  Well there a few problems with your question. 1. Gamestop does not fix game systems themselves. 2. If it has been tampered with or it won't play at all then Gamestop will not buy it because it will be a waste of money on their part.
