Can I buy Xbox 360 games with Microsoft points?

  • I want to buy Dead Rising 2 on the Xbox Marketplace (listed at 29.99), but I don't feel comfortable putting my debit or credit card on there because I would be tempted to buy everything. Can I purchase it with Microsoft points even though it's listed in dollar amounts?

    No, you can't buy it with points. If it only gives you the option of buying in dollars then you will need to put in a credit or debit card. Only those games that list purchase prices as points will allow you to pay in points. Most of the games on demand I belive are things you have to use a credit card for payment in dollars.
